| Description | In this course, students will learn about key accounting topics, both their application and rationale to build on knowledge gained in prior courses. Student will learn at an intermediate level important accounting topics including the conceptual framework underlying financial reporting, accounting for strategic investments, pensions, leases and corporate income tax liability. This necessary knowledge base will position the learner for more complex topics covered in an Advanced Financial Accounting course.
